Hi can anyone please advise if it’s ok to trim the roots on my Anubias plants. Some of them now reach the bottom.

Hi all,
Some of them now reach the bottom.
They grow long until they reach some substrate etc. even though they will grow as epiphytes they really want to be <"rooted into some substrate">. They don't trim particularly well (<"you often get root death">), so I would leave them, unless they really annoy you.

If you must trim them, cut the longest roots off with sharp scissors, right up near the rhizome.

cheers Darrel
