just thought i'd say hello, been a member on here for a couple of months, got introduced through another forum. I have got some useful info from here, cheers.

here are some pics of my tank (low tech),

tank - 190 ltr corner
lighting - 2 x T5's
Substrate - Aquabasis plus and sand
Ferts - Daily Easycarbo and TPN plus
Plants - - Java fern - Anubias - Vallis varied - Aponogeton ulvaceus - Ludwigia Peruviana - Egeria Densa - Crypts varied - Hygrophilia - Hydrocotyle.
Livestock - 6 Cardinal tetras - 4 Congo tetras - 6 Cherry Barbs - 5, 5 banded barbs - Varied Cory's - Varied Shrimp - Maintainance - 10% water change every 5 days at present.

Thanks Adam and George, it's been running with the current plants for 2 months, it's been running for 4 months in all. I have found it more difficult planting a corner.
 
been a couple of weeks, i have changed a couple of things. I have moved the massive bit of bogwood out to make way for more plants. I have replaced it for 2 smaller bits of mopani, the bogwood had a big circumference. I have added a couple of DIY C02 cannisters, well not DIY but the Hagen DIY cannisters, running through a bubble ladder. It all seems to be working well.

it looks bare at the front, i'm going plant shopping this week.
