Transferring Aqua Soil and Power Sand to bigger tank.

Hiya all, I set up my Trigon 190 10 months ago using 3 x 9litre bags of AS and a bag of PS medium. I was Finding a corner tank a little awkward to work with, so last week I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a new Rio 300 aquarium, I will be happily taking my Trigon down to accommodate my new one, so my question was could i could transfer the AS and PS into my new Rio 300 and use it as a base layer and cap it with a couple of bags of new AS? The 10 month old AS seems be holding its original shape on the top, getting a little crushed towards the middle and bottom though. Your thoughts please..

Yeah that will be fine. A few people on here re use the same substrate in each new scape they do

Thats a relief, I didn't want to waste it and I could spend the money I save on plants. I'll just transfer the soil straight in and cap it.... thanks :thumbup:
