Been Looking for a Dog Fountain for the Pup.
Bless him with his dumbo ears. He ends up dragging a trail of water once he has drank.
Did not want to Spend £30 on a Plastic box with a Piddly little pump in it.
So Decided to Build One.
Harvested some Pebbles from the garden.
A Haribo Tub from Halloween.
Glue Gen
Old Internal Filter with a Flow Dial - Superfish 200 WIth Floss in it.
Siphon Hose to make a Spout.

Just baking the pebbles so that they are safe for the pup.

And will get Glueing and Building this.

My dog leaves a water trail as well because she dunks her ears and more importantly beard in the water when she drinks. It wouldn't be such a problem if she didn't always walk past her bowl of clean water to drink out of the pond. A friend used to peg her dogs ears back when she fed them with a hair band because they dipped in its food.

Lol yep he is Derpy indeed.
If I fill his water bowl, he will ignore aswell and then go to the pond and drink from the waterfall.

I put his ears up in a scrunchy at feeding time. Otherwise his ears are covered in food.

Or he does a poop turns round to have a look and ends up with poop on his ears.
So I always grab him and hold him back so I can scoop it up.

So attempt one
Used a dorito bowl lft over from football sale.

Did not like it, as pump housing needed to be filled with water too high.

So had a look in the supply box.
Found this tub i used for betta breeding.
And a smaller pump head. And added filter floss.

Now I though about what I can use for the cascade etc. So found this paint tray in the shed. It fit perfectly. And the outlet for the pump fitted the display hook hole.

Used one of my pyrography pens to burn a few holes for the water to drain back.

Piled on rocks and set it in place.
Used a few larger pebbles to hide the wire. So he can't chew on it. Memories of the router wire flooded back.

I might change the larger pebbles for a large plate rock left over from the hardscape challenge build. As this is really heavy and will also as a step he can use from his bed.
