TMC Aquaray MiniLED 400/500

hello, I wanted to ask does anyone here use either the aquaray 400 or 500? I ask as I'm thinking of purchasing one however I'm unsure which one to get. Also, is the 500 one for marine tanks? And would the 400 one be sufficient enough for a 30L planted shrimp tank? thanks

Heyy 🙂

One Aquaray 400 will be more than enough for a 30L cube ish tank, but you may want two if your tank is longer and then reduce the intensity. I have two running over a 23L and my plants are growing so fast, but no algae yet touch wood haha

The Aquaray 500s are a bit too blue for a planted tank imo, and plant colours look a bit washed out under them.

thanks for the reply. I was thinking that the 500 one will burn my plants :/. So yeah, i've decided to go with the 400 🙂. btw, do you have any pictures of your 400 one? thanks
