Temporarily Storing plants

I'm in the process of stripping down my tank and rescaping from a "Dutch Jungle" to something more structured, the strip will be in a couple of weeks after the wood has soaked and can sink on it's own. Watch out in the For Sales once the removal man has finished!

The dilemma I have is I have been given some Buce's and Bolbitis H. which will be going in specific positions in the new tank on wood and rocks, as they are rhizome plants are these safe to place in to the jungle and have them floating free between now and the rescape? I don't want to have to attach to wood or rock to them have to move them again.

Any other suggestions as to the best way to deal with this problem?

anchor them to small pieces of rock, using a rubber-band or a single string. This way they will stay, where you put them. They will not attach within the "couple of weeks" you want to store them, therefore easy to take off again, when you want to place them at permanent space.
