Hi all, current technique for refilling my tank is with an Oase pump (believe it's the 800lph one) that's sat in a bucket in the sink.
Am I better off finding a tap connector? Basically, which is fastest? 😄
I have this type of tap...

I think for a tap like that, something like this might work:

You essentially just tighten it so that it's snug around the faucet.

And then you attach it to one of these:

Makes water changes a doddle.

I used to have one of these. I didnt like it tbh, it was a hassle to get it onto the tap, making it a bit instable over time, and sometimes it would just pop off, causing a mess. But it does work most of the time...

I'm very happy I have a secondary tap with warm water and sink in my garage now, with a permanent tap connector attached to it. That doesnt come off at least.

That's the downside about these modern style mixer taps, a lot of them are not fishkeeper friendly!

I've got the same connector, with a t-connector too. Once the hose is in place I don't have to touch it until the job is done, draining via the side-link, then refilling direct (dechlor going straight into the tank). The four taps mean I can test tapwater temperature at any time, by running it out of the free end at the sink. I also turn them all off when I'm done so the hose doesn't create a puddle.

However, shut all the taps while the mixer tap is still running and she'll blow!
