hi guys, im soon to be using some very large rocks (30Kg or more), i was thinking of sitting them ontop of a polystyrene sheet, would this work or will the 'styrene break down in the tank?
any tips on how you guys do this?

Hi Nick

I think using Egg crate would be a good solution, just cover the base of the tank with it and the mass of the rock will be distributed evenly, and you will have piece of mind to ensure no cracking.

This method is used in salt water tanks too!

Cheers, Jack
