Takashi Amano Exhibition Lisbon

Hi all,

I just spoke with a friend in Lisbon who told me that the Takashi Amano Exhibition at Oceanario Lisbon is being dismantled soon...

Does anyone know when? I was hoping to get over to Lisbon this Summer to visit it.

I may be too late...😭

😢 I was hoping to get there sometime to see it as well but I wouldn't have made it this year.

The Lisbon Aquarium website does not say anything about it ending. It was originally going to be a temporary exhibit but they kept it on because it was popular and drew in extra visitors.

The only two reasons I can think that it would end is either it is no longer popular (unlikely but possible) or the tank is reaching the end of its safe working life.

Got a reply very promptly.

Further to your e-mail, we inform you that due to the success of Takashi Amano's Temporary Exhibition Underwater Forests, it is still on display, indefinitely."

So looks like a summer visit is still on the cards @REDSTEVEO
