My first propper attempt at aquascaping. Very enjoyable, I now have the bug. Let me know your thoughts, have I failed miserably?

Once it grows in should look even better the Plants at foreground and the stems trimmed and replanted

Yeah I tried planting them apart to get them to carpet but not sure if I planted enough I did go ahead and replace that led strip built in to the lid though I dont think it was enough.
