Hi
I have the super fish home 45
With the built in led
I bought a timer for it
The timer nuked the transformer
So bought a gooseneck LED
But it spoiled the look of the tank
So want to go back using the build in
LED but don’t want to Nuke another transformer so my question does anyone use this tank with a timer and all is working
Pls lmk what kind of Timer you using

Welcome to the forum.

Did you get it from a shop? Probably worth checking out what has gone wrong with them as it may not be as bad as you think.
Or contact Superfish directly?

Im sure someone will have some knowledge on this.

What kind of timer were you using. Mechanical or electronic?
Many of the power supplies out there are more or less destined for a short life so it could just be bad luck.

In the meantime what does the power supply say for an "output"?
