Substrate after out of bag

I have all my hard scape matirils and Power sand - substrate, and really would love to start building the scape.
My question is how long I can keep the power sand and substrate soil out of the bag, without water before it all starts loosing it’s goodness. It’s gonna be at least a month before I’m up and running for plants.

If you're worried you could just keep it a bit moist (not dripping because you don't want mold) to ensure it doesn't dry out and get dusty
