Hi there
I'm considering changing out my current 4 x 80w HO T5 lamp setup (360 watt in all) for Fluval Plant 3.0 Leds. The price to performance ratio seems really nice. I'm looking for advice on how many of the LED lamps i should setup in order to obtain an equivalent level of light and coverage in the aquarium. The aquarium is 530 liter, with the dimensions of 160 cm wide, 60 tall and 55 back to front. Its heavily planted (dutch layout inspired) and has high levels of co2 injection. I would guess my current lighting setup can be described as at the higher end of medium lighting level.
The Fluval Plant 3.0 has these characteristics sited on their website:
Does anyone have any advice on configuration and number of LED lamps?
