Strideways solenoid question

Hello, I purchased a second hand Strideways dual stage regulator and fire extinguisher off eBay.

Being new to the co2 world after taking over a decade break I'm not sure how long a solenoid should take to stop the co2 going into the tank.

Is it normal for it to take a while to stop me seeing bubbles in the bubble counter?
It slows down over a period of 10 or so minutes and after an hr I still see the occasional bubble in the bubble counter.

it is ok, higher the pressure and volume in the tubing takes longer time to stop co2 flow at the diffuser after solenoid powers off.
you can set the timer to power off the solenoid about 1 hours before the lights off.

I have a Striedways, 3KG CO2 bottle and an inline atomiser. I think you are talking about the bubble counter here, not the diffuser.

When my solenoid clicks off, the bubbles (in the bubble counter) immediately start reducing and stop well under 10 minutes. I just tested and measured around 2 for total stopage.

If you are talking about the diffuser, then there may be some bubbles for a while, but again, I dont expect 10 minutes worth.
