Storing Rocks

This may fit within the off-topic section (please move or delete if needed) but I just wanted to know how people store rocks that arent being used in the current scapes for future use.

This may fit within the off-topic section (please move or delete if needed) but I just wanted to know how people store rocks that arent being used in the current scapes for future use.

I've stored and is currently storing some lava rocks and Malaysian driftwood in some large sealed (lids) plastic bins in our garage. I am not entirely sure its a good way to store the wood, but the rocks are fine.

I have my spare hardscape in a garden box next to shed when I plan to use any of the wood I leave it out to the elements for a few weeks

My wood 90% not from shops just left outside .If it shows any sign of rot decay its no good amyway. Rocks just piled up outside
