Recently made some changes to my 29 gallon tank to turn it into a high flow, heavily planted tank. Looking at adding a few stiphodon gobies but was wondering how they'd do with CO2 injection since everywhere talks about them needing very high oxygen.

I do have 2 reticulated hillstream loaches in the tank that I rescued and they've done well with the co2. I keep the tank at 72F, have gentle surface ripple and lots of flow from my canister and a cross flow WaveMaker

I have two Stiphodon gobies in a tank that runs at 30-35ppm CO2 and a pH drop of 1.2.

Pretty robust surface agitation.
