Afternoon,
First of all, Happy new year! Hope everyone has a happy and healthy 2021.

I recently made a journal post where I spoke about getting a fluval spec 5 and near enough immediately decided to get a bigger tank and put the spec to one side. It didn’t take me long at all to decide to scape the spec as well and I wanted to try an Iwagumi style scape, it’s been running for a week now and so far so good in regards to plant health. I’m not sure why but I’m not sure how I feel about it, I regret the moss on the stone so I think I’ll end up removing that, I also think I may have rushed it a little and if I’d gave it a week or two before planting I think I’d have changed the layout. Will see how it goes though.

It’s using the stock filter and lighting, Tropica aquarium soil (should’ve got the powder version)
Dragon stone, Monte Carlo & staurogyne repens

The art of patience is one that is hard to master :) I for one havent, so I totally get it :) It looks nice, but I agree about the moss, I think it would look better without the moss or with less :)

Yeah I’m definitely going to remove it, the more I look at it the less I want it lol
