Should we use reducers?

I have an Oase Styleline 85 (75litres). I have also bought a buy Biomaster 350 Thermo filter (mfr max 1100lph) to go with it.
The tank is going to be probably low-tech and also geared towards fish as well as plants. My concern is that that flow rate is going to be too big.

so my question is do I get pipe diameter reducers, and buy glassware for the reduced size pipework, or is this going to cause back pressure on the filter and essentially damage it in the long term? What should I stick with tubing that is the prescribed size and by appropriate glassware?

ideally I would like to place my order this weekend so if I could get a few comments from you guys ASAP I would be immensely grateful. thanks.

For a Biomaster 350 you are realistically looking around half flow in real world scenario, so 650lph in 75 litres is not so over the top.

If you absolutely had to reduce the flow further, maybe look at something that will reduce the speed of outflow rather than actual flow, such as a spin outflow or the Aquario Premium Neo Flow package.

Ok that makes sense. Thanks 👍👍
