Setting up a shrimp tank.

I have just bought a Aquael 20 shrimp tank. I have been keeping both tropical and cold water fish for 27 years, but this is a new venture and I would be grateful of any advice people can give me I have read up on them but I am always open to other people's advice and would love to hear from you.

There's nice tutorial abour CRS in the invert section but it can be applied to cherry's. My advice is small frequent water changes over a long a period as possible rather then one big water changes every week, Good luck.

What shrimp do you want to keep is first thing to know?

I am planning on keeping cherries to start with and see how I get on. I set up the Aquael shrimp tank 3 days ago and I have left it to mature it is half planted up at the moment and is a work in progress. I will introduce the first shrimps in about 60 days or so pending that all the water tests indicate it is safe to introduce them.
