Purchased this filter 2023 after 8 months uv lamp failed thought it was the lamp, but on investigating it was what Sera calls an inverter for the supply to the uv lamp it had in my terms melted, they sent me a new one that I installed I have electrical background, all fine but after 8 months this inverter has overheated and I my view melted again, please be very carefully if you purchase this product, any electrical fault in any product could be very dangerous, I have sent emails to Sera but no reply.
