This has been asked a few times now so thought I would make a stiky out of this:

Enabling searching on words of 3 letters or less will cripple any site as the database will be huge. However the site is being indexed by Google search and therefore you can use that to search the forum content also.

Just type on the search field:

site:ukaps.org [your search string]

Searching for Fluval G6 below (G6 would be ingnored on a UKAPS forum search):

google_UKAPS.PNG

You can then adjust the time frame as per normal google searches.

Then in Google, as seen on Paulo's above screenshot, we have the "Settings" Menu next to Tools. :)

Under Settings, you'll find "Advanced Search".

In this search page, you can refine your search query quite extensive without remembering all the tags needed. You can also add Site or Domain in this case ukaps.org.

If you want to search for Exact words you need to add Double Quotation marks.

For example:

Lily site:ukaps.org
will search for all words containing Lily.

"Lily" site:ukaps.org
Will search for the exact word only.

All lots to remember? Then a visit to the advanced search page does that for you. :)
