One of those sleepless night so thought id ask,

Bought a bottle not long ago been dosing twice weekly for probably a month. Not noticed a huge difference.

But wondered what you guys thought? Im doing a low tech set up no co2 just light n the fert

My cabomba was doing well enough without it but no change lately but my straight vallis doing fine

Stupid question but how do you put it in your tanks do u just drop it in or do u use a syringe or even use a syringe to squirt it straight into your substrate??

Sorry for all the questions at once Pricey

I pour liquid fertz into the cap (approx 5ml) and tip it into the tank. Simple, job done.

What seachem product are we talking about exactly? If it's Excel (a carbon source) it might be better if you poured it into the tank near the outlet flow. If Excel floated down in high concentration and landed on moss it could do some damage.

Flourish comprehensive? Just throw it in. Note it doesn't have enough NPK. Only micros.

Otherwise agree with Dantrasy.

Hey! Still love the avatar Pricey! Just to complicate things (Because I didn't realise there was a difference at first) There's a Flourish Comprehensive and a Flourish Trace. They both some of the same micro trace elements, but some are different - Comprehensive contains a source of iron & calcium whereas Trace doesn't.

Comprehensive also contains a source of potassium.

Sorry - I forget to say, I use a syringe for my 19l tank as the 1ml I've to dose for the small tank size is more exact. Ha! I know what you mean about not noticing a difference - but I guess my limiting factor is more related to flow and lack of co2.

Yea i have the flourish comprehensive, maybe its just me not noticing anything or maybe not paying enough attention
