Hi Guys

I am about to move to Vietnam! Between finishing here and starting there I have a few weeks away from the grindstone. I want to go on a dive trip and was wondering whether anyone here knew of any good fresh water dive sites.

Someone suggested Lake Malawi. That looks amazing, but in some ways quite barren. I was wondering if there is anywhere with some amazing plant life as well as the fauna. I am totally open minded as to the location.

Any help would be much appreciated.

malawi is pretty barren barren in terms of plant life, and not much to look at, its just a rocky bottom lake..

Some places i would love to go are the pantanal, some of the amazon backwaters where the water is crystal clear, or sulawesi...

Wherever you go take lots of photos...

Florida USA has 100's of freshwater optically clear springs and cave systems.
They have dive clubs, and then you can go dive on the reef down in the Keys or go to Cayman's or Belize later.

Brazil is good.........but the murky water is an issue.
