Rotala Macrandra

This plant has been in my tank around a week now. The lighter colour leaves are the new growth. Does this plant develop the red colour over time as it grows?

Exept if you have rotala macrandra green.. 😉 It might devellop redish tops.. 🙂 I believe the rest has quite red potential..

It is suposed to be red narrow leaved. Must admit i was guite suprised when it came and it was green🙂.

Then it most likely needs enough light and enough iron in the ferts to get realy nice red.. There are very few plants comming red out of the box.. Most are green with the potential to become red if the conditions are favorable.. 🙂
