I have fitted two taps to my RO unit to bypass the RO Membranes.
One on the input to shut off the membranes & one on the outlet to prevent back flushing.
In my mind I can now have full RO water or HMA water.
Water changes I sometimes mix them about half & half.
Am I deluding myself?
My RO unit has
1) Polypropylene chamber to remove solids to 5 micron
2) Activated Carbon chamber
3) 2x RO Membranes
4) DI Resin Chamber
Your thoughts please.
