The trouble is this time of the year when it's hot I get home from work and go and wade about in it....next thing I know Hubby's standing on the bank and I'm saying your supper might be a little while I forgot the time 😀
The fish may be a bit large for a tank lol there are chub,roach,rudd,gudgeon and pike.
Things like the swan mussels are getting very rare these days and almost impossible to feed in an aquarium so best left where they are I feel.
I might for a bit of fun one day set up a biotope using the plants and some substrate from the river to see what appears...probably plenty of leeches and dragonfly nymphs 😀
We have Kingfishers nesting somewhere but with my rubbish photography chances of getting a pic are less than nil I usually just see a flash of blue go past.
