Returning from the salty side

Hi

Its been a few years since i have been on here and had a planted tank after moving to marine, but have decided to close my tank down and come back to planted. Great to see so much valuable info on here and will certainly be picking the expert brains as i change my 5ft marine tank with sump to low tech planted. Will get photos up once everything is cleaned up.

Well as the way this hobby goes during the planning stages my 5ft sumped tank idea has turned into a 180cm x 60cm x 45cm shallow full opti white tank that i couldn't resist ( delivered yesterday), will start a journal but will be a slow build as want to try lots of new things that i haven't tried before, possibly "dirt" tank, large amount of wood that is currently soaking and leaching a lot of tannin so maybe a blackwater, immersed growing with house plants planted into a large tree stump and probably other things that spring to mind along the way. Teaser photo attached as the tank stands after delivery will cover back and one side with frosted film.
