New to the forum as a poster, but have been lurking for a while. I was really hoping somebody could help.
We have several aquariums, one of which isa Marina Vue 87l. Its a little starter aquarium that my wife and children look after. Unfortunately the light started flicking recently, like a rave. It's a nearly new bulb though so I think it may be the actual unit that's had it, the aquarium is 6 years old.
I would really love go know what options I have to replace and upgrade the lighting. Not wanting to spend a fortune, and would ideally like to keep the lid so the kids can't throw things in! Right now I have a 25 pounds amazon light, stuck to the hood with suckered. But the light quality is awful. I anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated. Anything that could stick on or easily attach to the underside of the hood would be preferable, but open to anything.
