Removing fish

Afternoon,

Posting on behalf on a friend who is wanting to remove some Copper Rasbora in their tank. They've caught 7 but three are left and are proving difficult to catch as they hide at the back behind some rocks. They want to know a) if they can't catch them, will they suffer been in such a small group and potentially get ill? b) if they do become ill and perish, will the dead fish cause issues with ammonia etc? c) would anyone have any tips on how to catch these remaining fish?

His tank is mostly rocks and doesn't really want to strip it down to catch them. His other livestock are catfish, platies and swordtails.

Thanks in advance.

I usually have the net in one corner or part of the tank and guide the fish with my hand towards the net. This makes it much easier to catch the fish without as much stress as chasing them around with the net.
