Hi,

I've broken down the rio180 a long while ago now and am looking at the redmoor roots that i've taken out.

They are fully dried but have changed appearance from the original reddish hue to a more manzi look and rough feel. Additionally they feel brittle and my gut feeling is they are a going to get further surface breakdown if I use them again.

Having only reused redmoor a couple of times before (different bits, different tanks) is this what I should expect, a limited "finite" lifespan from this wood?

What are everyone else's experiences for reusing rooty and branchy woods long term in different scapes?

Best Regards,
John
