Hi all,
hope your all well?
I'm having second thoughts on this piece of red moor root. The wood will have to be to the rear of the tank as it is too big to sit much closer to the front, so no stem plants directly behind it. instead i'll add some java ferns behind the wood to populate that space, issue I have is two fold, 1, location or the wood. if you can think of any other options please let me know. 2, is it 2 big for the tank? I dont want to create dead spots in behind the wood as it will be very close to the back glass.

FYI - the gravel is temporary. Aqua soil will be use eventually

Thanks All,
Carl

What is particularly difficult and literally upside down with Spiderwood... It's a rootstock from a Rhododendron bush. Thus what's pointing up used to be under the ground when the plant still was living.

But since you're asking I would say Nr. 3 :) Looks the most balanced of all...

Don't be afraid to snip if a limb is going the wrong way, you can still use the bits you detach just put them in better positions.
