Pricy if you buy it new (try eBay) but I have a Vortec MP10 which is nice because it doesn't have any wires inside the tank (more of an issue for covered/sealed tanks) and because it has lots of ways it can be programmed.
No, for me it's in a much smaller tank - a 45L (12 gallon) biOrb. I run the mp10 changing between 10% and 20% power. 20% is pretty flowy for a tank this size so it's probably good for your larger 32 gallon tank.
Ai Nero 3 have one in my 180litre tank, easy to set up on your phone or tablet and you can set it up as you want including feeding times and random flow

... and capable of moving a large volume of water without creating a vortex.
Just for info, I run mine at 15% while CO2 is on then 1% thereafter on a 230l, I would imagine running it at it's higher output it could become a bit unruly unless you had a large tank. I also have it as low to the substrate as is feasibly possible just above the foreground plants to get flow round the middle and bottom of the tank, most jet and lily pipes point either straight or upward. I know I'm probably a bit biased and there are definitely other options out there (of which I have no experience of) but mine has run faultlessly for 3 1/2 years and I believe has been a boon to my tank.
Cheers!
