Re-using TMC nutrasoil

I have had a serious cyanobacteria problem the last few months and since I will be doing a total rescape soon. I was wondering if reusing the old substrate is a good idea. I would siphon the substrate out into a sift into a bucket. That way i can get rid of build up in the soil.
The tank has been running for six month.

Absolutely. If you are worried about Cyanobacteria in the soil, you could even treat with antibiotics once you have it a bucket. I doubt it would be needed though.
