I'd really love to grow this in my low tech set up, but it seems to be struggling a bit. I'm hoping it's nothing more than the old leaves finally dying off as it is sending out a few runners and the few new leaves it's sent up seem ok, but I'd like to either double check or troubleshoot if necessary 🙂 It's been in here for a few months now, it's a rainwater tank with tropica substrate, fertilised with TNC complete, was around 4ml/week but increased that to around 6ml very recently. The salvinia on the surface looks great and is multiplying at a rate of knots and nothing else seems to be struggling. I figured it was a bit of a risk trying it in low tech as it allegedly needs CO2 and higher light to thrive, but I figured I'd try it. Anyway, here's a couple of photos, I've trimmed off the affected leaves and it looks a bit naked now!:
