Quick question about Hydrocleys nymphoides

Just got two of these, ofshoots i guess, they have very litle and small roots.
Should i float them till they have more roots or plant them, but put them slightly deep (else they float away anyway)?

If I remember correct, your tank is quite deep, isn't it? But you also have good light, I tbink. If both are answrred "yes", I would actually plant the offshoots. I wouldn't plant them deep, though, since I would not want to cover the growing-point of tbe plant. It might tolerate being covered - but I wouldn't count on it. Could the roots be tied very gently around a small stone, perhaps, to keep it down untill stronger roots develop and hold the plant?

I used some lead plant weights to just lean them on the substrate, Fingers crossed.
