Pump question

I downgraded from juwel 240 to a juwel Lido 120 (space issue) i have had the Lido over a year now and l am persevering with planted.
My question is I kept the pump from the 240 and I was wondering if I could use the pump from the 240, I checked with juwel and it will fit but will it be too powerful ?

Looking at the Jewel website, the pump they use on the 240 is an eco flow 600. On their 120ltr tanks is the eco flow 500, so I’d say you’ll be ok with your old pump.

As above, I suggest trying the 600, it is only 20% more flow than the 500... you can always take it out again if you don't like it.
