Pump for waterchanges

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a cheap pump for water changes? Its for a 80L aquarium. I want to return the water slowly so as not to ruin my carpet plants.

I simply reused an old internal filter and attached a hose on the end of it to perform water changes. I think it was a fluval 1 or something.

Ive since upgraded to a 400l pumphead and I can do a big water change in my 180l in less than 5 minutes

You can angle the return in such a way that you can still fill quickly and still not ruin your carpet plants.
That way you can still use a powerhead
