Hi all,
Ive been mooching around the fish shops looking at plants, sussing out where is good and where is not. Quite a few sell plants in pots. Im particularly looking at Cryptocorynes in pots as I want to have a bit of a crypto forest in part of my tank. It looks like there are lots of bits of the plant in the one pot. If I buy a pot can I take the crypts out and separate them ? If so, how far can I take it ? Also, do they multiply once in the tank ? And finally, I have 2.5cm aquabasis topped with 5cm of cat litter. How deep do I plant the plantlets ?

Sorry for such a noobie question, but hey, gotta start somewhere.

Awesome, thanks very much. Now I dont mind paying £2.29 for a potted Crypt, esp if it yields 12 plantlets like in that video, hehe.
