A pond visitor enjoying the early evening sunshine on the rocks around the pond. We have had a couple of cool and cloudy days recently, so this guy was making the most of the warmth today!

A beauty for sure; this was a younger one, maybe a young adult, around 70cm long and quite slim. Bigger ones have visited previously and we are very lucky to see them every year.

Edit: They don't usually stay still for a photograh when they see or hear a person approaching so I was very happy to have the opportunity to snap a few pics today.
