Polyfilter and adding nutrients

Hi all - I have used arcadia polyfilter and it was very good at taking copper out of my tank. My question is will it affect my dosing of a planted tank? I know it can take phosphates and nitrates out of the tank - so will it affect the nutrients we are dosing?
