hi

thanks trev

They would probably survive in a bucket of water, certain plants will survive for months in just a bucket of water and natural daylight from a window.

It depends though, if these plants have been in a CO2 injected environment they may suffer a little shock and become stunted upon re entry into the tank, but a lot of plahts are pretty tough IME, could be a different matter with plants like crypts though, these may melt if removed from a tank and then replanted but they should bounce back.

Obviously the ideal is another tank with proper lighting but I guess that goes without saying, even a tank with low light would do for highlight plants for 4-5 days.
