Hi all,

My new low tech set up has going for some three months and growth with all plant species is good. Recently I've noticing Crypts with holes.

Dosing is daily using Easy-life Profito and Ferro, I'm thinking maybe a potassium deficiency?

Possibly damage by a Ancistrus sp, do you have a bristlenose in the tank? Also and more than likely a co2 issue (early bba on leaf edges would suggest that.)

Seeing as you are low tech is it possible to lower the light intensity a tad?

Ancistrus, yes a pair, plus some young. I suppose it's possible and it's the fry doing it.

Lighting, two Aquasky 33w, so yes they could be lowered and as for BBA, it has had that from week four kept in check by an SAE ever since.
