Plants and blue light?

Hi everyone, hope you're all keeping well.
I have a question: Is there any reason not the turn my blue light up in intensity. Not to the point where they are higher than whites, but its just that I prefer the colour a little bit more "crisp". The light fixture is a ration xr15, so not made with plants as its purpose but it is working very well. By ramping blues up by 10 or 20% there shouldn't be any adverse effects right? Or am I wrong?

I assume you mean the Radion XR15 but is it the Blue or the Pro version? Are you planning to have plants in your tank at some stage?

Hi Jay,

It is not the new gen 5 it's a generation 4 that I had left from my old reef tank.

I have established plants in there already.
