Planting aquarium using wabis

Foxfish you just place the wabi directly on the soil.
I think it's a great idea for fast planting, cheap yes, if you prepare them yourself in advance. If you buy them ... not sure. :lol:
 
Japan cultivated or otherwise, I'd do a bit of research on the Utricularia graminifolia before placing it in a shrimp tank! Isn't this plant meant to produce vacuum bladders for trapping small organisms?

Anyway, I like the idea of using soil plugs for quick planting, sort of what i've been doing already in my emerse setup. I imagine it'd be really useful for professional aquascapers.

It doesn't do that when it's growing underwater. :)
