I got this pair of crypts from a local aquarist. They initially melted (entirely expectedly), and now they've regrown I'm wondering if they're different cultivars of the same species, or just expressing natural variation (possibly related to where they are in the tank). From the research I've done, my hypothesis is that one of them is Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green' and the other is Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Bronze' or 'Brown', but I'm far less familiar with aquatic plants than I am with terrestrial. I'd be very grateful for input from more experienced underwater gardeners 🙂 Pictures below!
