hi guys im new to plants ive had a lot or success growing Java Fern java moss but I am going into dwarf grass how hard is it to take cutings and root out from them

Not every tank is the same, some grow DHG like weed, others can't get them to grow at all, they do seem to do better (faster) with CO2 injection, but so do most plants.
I'm also quite new, I ordered some dwarf hairgrass last month or so; and found it to root quite readily in a sand substrate, with an underlayer of tropica plant substrate with co2 injection.
I had a delivery of a culture, whereby you simply wash away the materials used to cover the roots, whether this be agar jelly or the flossy type brown stuff; then cut it into smaller portions. Plant directly into substrate, so that a small amount of the grass is peeking out. With no disturbance, it should root pretty readily.
