Plant guide?

Hello, I have had a quick search but no joy. Is there an overview guide to what plants are suitable for either low tech or hi tech set ups. I understand that this could not be definitive but just based on peoples experience and findings.

Hello Gary. Yeah I have had a look at a few websites and the usual local aquatics etc but the main point I want to get from such a guide is the reality of 'easy to care for' and 'easy grow' etc. It's like buying a new car that claims to do 60mpg when the reality is it will only do 50mpg if you know what I mean.
