Plant dry or plant wet?

i was just wondering- what would be the best way to plant plants? Fill the tank up then plant, or plant then fill tank up?

It would save a lot of hassle if i could fill, and then plant, but ya know. I'm using JIno3 capped with moler clay, and planting things like crypts, lilaeopsis, etc.

What would be the best thing to do?

Id plant the lilaeopsis and other smaller plants with water below the substrate then fill the tank and plant the taller plants

okay that sounds cool, whats your reason for this mate?

Its easier to plant in before you fill it but some taller stems bend/snap easily and having the tank full of water reduces this damage, i personally find it easier this way but some people plant everything without water in the tank and then fill it

I like to plant wet, you can see what they look like underwater and the need to uproot and move them is not necessary.
