Hi, I ave noticed some holes in the leaves of my Hygrophila polysperma and tiger lotus. But I'm not sure what to do to stop it. I have 1.25wpg of t8 lighting, no CO2 and EI ferts. The tank is 210l, and the filtration is 1050lph.
holes within leafs would usually point to lack of fertz - but because you are using E.I which is classed an unlimited fertz dosing I would say your issue is due to a lack of co2 injection and I sure I had read a similar article on the forum of which clive reply was: that it was co2 related.
That's bad news then. As I've just posted in my algae topic, my parents won't allow pressurised, and liquid is too expensive in this tank. Have people had good results with DIY in a big tank if loads of bottles are used?
