Planaria worms

Hello,

I have just noticed that I have Planaria worms in my tank. I find this odd since I don't have any fish or shrimp in the tank and so I never feed so as to have leftover food for Planaria to appear. What does this tell you about the conditions in the aquarium?

Too much organic matter in general. Step up the water changes, remove all the milm and decaying plant matter.
